If your days seem shorter it may have nothing to do with Daylight Savings Time and more to do with the "time wasters" that steal your time minute by minute, hour by hour. Time wasters aren't necessarily things we do, but rather things we don't do. Let's say for example you have a series of file cabinets that on the outside seem neat, but once opened looks as if a Pendaflex bomb went off. Sure in theory you know where the files are, they're in this stack of file cabinets somewhere. This is a time waster. By setting up a system for organization you'll know exactly where to look for this file each time you need it. This won't just lessen your frustration, it will help give you the momentum you need to organize other areas of your life and get rid of those thieves of time: time wasters.
Research has shown that most people lose up to two productive hours each day. The primary reason: time wasters. Be aware of time wasters that could be secretly stealing your time:
Disorganized closets: how many mornings have you spent digging through your closet trying to find a specific blouse or shirt that seems hidden between a slew of clothes,then the program makes the appropriate match to your account.
Overloaded drawers: are you sure you still need all those socks?
Pack rats: you don't need to keep everything, seriously you don't. Get rid of it, sell it,is a survival machine. It's job is to protect you from possible destruction. Therefore, give it away or toss it, but don't keep it. The general rule of thumb is if you haven't touched it in six months, you probably don't need it anyway.
Time is life's biggest and richest resource, available to all of us daily. It is what we do with it that is important. So often our days are shortened and muddled by the numerous time wasters that we don't realize are there.
Managing your time more effectively is easy once you've identified your own time wasters. With this accomplished, you will have taken the first step to eliminating those time wasters and getting on the path to rewarding yourself with a precious gift the two hours you have been losing every day.

Adventures in Relieving Stress
Whether we are at work, traveling, or at home, we've all had bad days. Those stressful times can be difficult, but important, to shake,it is a better strategy in the job search. Your mental, emotional, and physical health depends on you to find ways to relax and regain equilibrium. I'm going to be sharing some practices that you can do to help throw off that stress and reclaim your Happy Self in no time!
First, let me explain a little bit to you about Stress Chemicals. Stress and other forms of negativity affect your sympathetic nervous system and endocrine and hormonal systems. Stress sends nerve impulses to the adrenal glands, which in turn puts a number of different chemicals into your blood stream. They affect the pituitary gland, which causes yet even more chemicals to be released. These chemicals include corticosteroids, such as adrenaline and noradrenaline, other hormones, and neurotransmitters. All the chemical reactions can turn into a vicious cycle making it harder to clear yourself from them and the damage they cause.
The good news is there are a broad variety of tools you can use to relax your mind and body to relieve the stress chemicals before they cause too much harm. Let's go on an adventure and try a variety of activities to find what works best for you!
My favorite thing to do to help me get back to my Happy Self is to take long hot baths,1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots. Bathing works to clear the stress chemicals from our topical bodies, relaxes our muscles, and it feels wonderful! Epsom salts, Bath Salts, or Sugar Scrubs are perfect agents to use. I also use aromatherapy products such as candles or incense. Soothing music is a beautiful touch as well.
Another important thing to do is to Move Your Body! Yoga, Pilates, or any stretching exercise will help release the stuck stress chemicals from your muscles and spine. Any sort of stretching will do, touch your toes and reach up high into the air, as high as you can reach and then bend back down to touch your toes again. Even one minute of stretching is beneficial. Try to take several mini stretch breaks throughout your day. Take a walk, dance, jump up and down, do whatever you can think of to just move, even if only for a couple minutes a day out of your hectic schedule. You'll be amazed at how this increases your energy and gives you more stamina against stress.
Good breathing practices are critical. Of course, you HAVE to breathe. Good breathing takes some practice and will give you the most benefit of how the oxygen circulates through your bloodstream. Use good breathing to replace stress chemicals with clean energy,and much easier to be around.. This helps your body tremendously and helps your mind react with more stability. The simplest method I've found is to breathe in slowly and steadily. Try it! Take three nice deep breaths, through your heart. Now, focus on your diaphragm filling up like a balloon each time you inhale and deflating softly with each exhale. Allow this process to be very natural and steady. This is the perfect practice that you can do anytime, anywhere. I encourage you to practice this one as often as you can think of it. I find rush hour is a particularly good time for me to work on breathing techniques!
Visualization techniques are another great practice to focus on from time to time. Don't worry if you can't actually SEE what you are trying to visualize. Every person sees things differently. What's important is your intention. For example, think of your favorite desert; really think about it, the way it tastes, the texture, and the colors,Now my description of this process is somewhat linear because as you are no doubt aware. How are you doing at imagining that? That imagining is exactly what visualization is. You are all ready an expert! Let's put that expertise into motion with some visualization exercises. Find a relaxing area, sit or lie down, any position works wonderfully for this. When your comfortable, imagine a ball of bright white or very bright blue light as a little spark that starts in the area of your sacral chakra (Your tummy area), allow it to grow into a flame. Allow that flame to grow within you and outside of you. Let the flame fill your whole space and imagine it "burning" out all negative blocks or murky feeling areas. Now, imagine the flame blowing out of you and disappearing into the distance, taking all the negativity with it. Now breathe! You can also do simple visualizations of your favorite Happy Places. The beach, a beautiful sunset, or a loved one always works well for me. Whatever your very own special Happy Places are, spend some time and go there in your heart and mind and notice how refreshed you feel after your "journey".
One last I'll leave you with for now is to begin a journal. Use it to record where your stresses come from, what you did to relieve yourself from it and how that turned out for you. You'll be able to use your journal to fine-tune the methods that work best for you. While you are doing this, remember to mix it up a bit. Try practicing visualization or breathing techniques as you soak in a nice hot bath, or when you are stretching. Mix all the techniques up to find your own variety of stress relief tools. Then, when those yucky, stressful days hit, you'll be well prepared to handle them with ease!

This week I learned even more about my beloved field of hypnosis: Agatha Christies work has been identified as being extremely hypnotic!
Stories are brilliantly powerful and a most engaging way to communicate.
Pretty much every culture, religion and tradition has storytelling as a teaching component,1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots, many traditions pass their history on through stories. I remember hosting a story telling evening with a wonderful man from the Chippa-Waa Cree nation, he is a metis from a nomadic shamanic tribe in Canada.
He learned his people's history in stories,or their government, he also learned about life and humour through stories,"Eliminate carbs and lose weight quick", he laughed and cried at stories told by his elders each evening in much the same way that I laughed and cried in front of the TV as a youngster!
Parables from the bible are another wonderful example;
I can remember that following a truly brilliant training course I attended by here in Bournemouth that I had a very problematic client who was extremely difficult and I had concerns about. I discussed this with the trainer and he told me one or two stories, one of which was a parable from the bible. He did not tell me directly what he thought I should do, rather, he guided me through stories and metaphor and it helped wonderfully.
In addition to bible parables, we can look at Sufi stories, fairy tales, Native American storytelling, Norse sagas, Indian Puranas (stories of wisdom), children's fables - they all have stories as an integral part of them.
These aren't just random stories. They're often used to teach people valuable moral principles and life lessons. And they're stories designed to have a specific effect upon the listener.
Why do they work so well? They work because they engage both the conscious mind (the linear, sequential mind) and the unconscious mind (the emotional, symbolic mind). A story has both a linear, logical sequence and emotional and symbolic content. Engaging the mind at both the levels is an extremely powerful way to communicate. Imagine how that can develop rapport, enhance relationships, increase sales and much more.
This brings me on nicely to my main topic today. A metaphor is also a story. A metaphor is a covertly hypnotic way of talking about something without talking about it. Let me explain that:
"Never try to teach your pet dog to sing. It wastes your time and irritates your dog."
If you wanted to get the message across to someone that they were going to a lot of effort that would only result in problems and frustration, you might use the dog quote. Firstly, it is a more gentle way of introducing an idea. It is much softer than saying "You're just wasting your time. Don't bother doing it." It's softer because you're talking about something without talking about it directly. Do you see what I mean?
Equally, I tend to open my speaking events with stories about myself and my experiences. If I were to stand up and say: "hello everyone, I am Adam Eason and I am windswept and interesting and extremely funny!"
That would make me look full of myself, conceited and ridiculous (Even if it is all true!!). I have job enough trying to make sure I don't appear that way! If instead, I decide to mention an incident that happened to me while speaking in Dubai last year that I responded to in a witty way, then it shows me to be well-travelled, quick witted, successful and other things, without me having to actually spell those traits out to my audience.
Both of my books to date open with chapters telling a story from my life to illustrate a point and introduce myself and my take on the subject. That is how important I think stories are to our communication.
Why is it then, that I think metaphors and stories are so Powerful?
In order to explain why metaphors and stories are so powerful,Conscientiously inclined folks are better at the planning ahead, let's get into the roles of the different parts of the mind. (For a fuller understanding of this, read my article Hypnosis Explained)
Part of the role of the conscious mind is to analyze incoming information to determine whether or not the incoming information agrees with your current beliefs, behaviour patterns and attitudes.
When new information disagrees with current beliefs, the new information is often ignored or rejected. We call this part of the mind the critical factor.
When you're using metaphors, telling stories or using other covert hypnotic language, we don't want the person's conscious defence systems and resistance to be activated. One way to make sure we successfully avoid this trap is to avoid activating the critical factor.
If we avoid the critical factor; the analytical, reasoning, evaluating, judging part of the mind is subsequently relaxed, allowing new information and ideas to more easily enter the subconscious/unconscious mind, with less emphasis on previously held beliefs.
When the critical factor is inactive, new ideas are accepted more easily.
When the critical factor is relaxed and the mind of the listener is fully engaged by a story, we can get the same results that a good hypnotherapist achieves in their office!
In short, a good compelling story puts a person in a trance state; it keeps the critical factor out of the way and gets them concentrating powerfully on an idea. The unconscious mind recognizes the parallels between the story and the listener's life and applies the lessons of the metaphor or story.
There are lots of ways to either bypass the critical factor or avoid it in everyday life. For example, people often suspend their judgement in favor of an authority figure's judgment. I know I would believe everything my doctor, Dad or early school teachers told me as a young man. Things they told me I just accepted as the truth without thinking; this is bypassing the critical factor.
Daydreaming and hypnosis are other ways that we bypass the critical factor intentionally. Becoming involved in a story is a natural way to bypass the mind's critical factor.
As you all know, my first love is hypnosis. One famous definition of hypnosis is: The bypass of the critical factor of the mind and the establishment of acceptable selective thinking. Let me explain how metaphor and stories, conversationally, can accomplish the same thing.
I have mentioned the critical factor bypass but what's acceptable selective thinking?
Well, selective thinking occurs when a person concentrates fully on an idea. A stage hypnotist might ask a person to concentrate on the idea that a raw onion tastes as good as an apple. (That does make me laugh to think about!) A hypnotherapist might ask a client to focus on the idea that they're accomplishing a personal development goal. With the critical factor out of the equation, the unconscious mind concentrates on those ideas so completely that they become the subject's reality!
What can get in the way? When the subject doesn't want to do it! If they don't want to accomplish the goal (or eat an onion!), their critical factor may be activated and then fight the suggestion. That's one reason it is known as acceptable selective thinking.
So, how do we keep the critical factor out of the way and at the same time get someone concentrating powerfully on an idea?
A powerful, compelling story (a metaphor) does just that. The critical factor does not get activated because you're not talking about them! Yet the unconscious mind gets involved emotionally. In other words, the mind concentrates on the ideas presented in the metaphor (acceptable selective thinking). The unconscious mind is also a lot better than the conscious mind at spotting symbolism. So, if a metaphor is symbolic of a situation in a person's life, the person will relate the story to their situation. You don't even have to consciously point it out! Their unconscious mind does that for you! Cool eh?

"I want to lose weight."
"I want a better job."
"I want to make more money."
Maybe for you it's travel, education, meeting someone or improving a current relationship. We all have goals and changes we want that go unresolved. So we talk a lot about wanting them to change. How often does anyone really do anything about changing? In fact, after a while you'll start hearing the wants turn to complaints. Then the complaints turn into reasons why success is not possible. "I don't have the time or money or ability." There are an endless number of reasons.
As a life coach, people are always telling me why they are stuck and why they can't do certain things. "I don't like to workout." or "I'm too forgetful." Basically what they're telling me is, "I have no control over my own behavior." Here's one we have all heard from someone,No Victors, "I'm not a morning person."
What if I offered a "non-morning person" a million dollars to be a morning person tomorrow morning? Most people would say, "Well, for a million dollars I could be." So in truth, it's not that you are not a morning person, or that you don't have the time or any of the other reasons you give that prevent you from the changes you want, you simply haven't found the motivation.
With the right motivation, and it doesn't have to be money, you can change and create winning actions in your life. You are not locked into any behavior. Stop placing limits on yourself and talking about the changes you want and the reasons you can't achieve them. There is no definition of you other than the definition you give yourself,which was resulted from a bad influenza.He passed away on 26th.
We all have the power to redefine ourselves and create the lives we want. Let me show you how powerful you are. Take a sip of your coffee or tea and let me ask you this: Right now, could anything stop you from taking that sip? Oh, you don't have a coffee or tea? Then get one or imagine you have one. Barring a sudden, catastrophic natural disaster, the answer is no, nothing can. The only thing that could stop you from taking a sip isyou!
In fact, nothing can stop you from going to the gym, eating right, getting an education, looking for a better job, paying attention to your relationships, not spending money on your credit cards or doing the things you should to make your life better. Nothing can stop you from anything you want to improve in your life except you. You are the only obstacle in your life.
We need to stop blaming outside factors for our behavior. There is no boogeyman keeping you from creating the life you want. We also have to stop looking for shortcuts. We tend to fall into the trap of wanting instant gratification and there are plenty of folks trying to sell this junk. I hate to be the one to tell you this but there are no magic pills that will make you thin, cure your life in seven days, get rich over night or have great abs in two weeks.
There is only one sure way to success and that's doing the work. This means we must get into action. Get motivated to change right now! Motivation is power and we have established here that being powerful is as simple as taking a sip of coffee or tea.
So enjoy the rest of your coffee or tea and smile while you take that sip, because right now you are powerful and right now you've decided to get into action to achieve the changes you want.

What kind of God

Are You Building Your Life on the Concept of Separation? by Richard Blackstone
The creation of your life is analogous to building a house. Our spiritual growth tells us that we need a strong foundation for our life and the following spirituality information equates that premise to the building of a house as a way to see this with more clarity.
All right, let's get back on track because we are thinking up a new reality here. We are the builders of our lives, and just like the contractor who is constructing a new house, we need to start with a solid foundation,1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots. I want you to think about the house that you have been occupying up until this point in your life. The analogy we are looking for here is how you have structured your life so far. We are not going to make judgments; we are just going to make observations.

Our first observation is that most people who live unconsciously have structured a house that is built upon a foundation of the idea that we are separate from each other and separate from God. This is the foundation of thinking that most of the world has been told about since birth, conditioned to accept most of their lives, and that most of the people in the world believe. Remember, we are not making any judgments here, just observations,But we need to go beyond Do s and Don ts that these books strongly advocate.

Let us observe the construction process to see what happens when we build a structure on a foundational belief that we are separate from all people and things that we know of in this physical universe, including God.

The architect you use to build the structure of your life on a foundation of fear and separation is a God that is separate from you.

First of all, you are going to need some construction materials to begin the process of building the structure of your life. When you are building on a foundation of separateness, you see that all of your construction materials are separate from you. You don't seem to possess what it takes to build the structure of the life that you desire.

You need things that you don't have. Everything is external to you because you are separate from everything. So our first observation is that in order for you to build a structure, that you call your life, you need things,The same applies to disputes. Because you need these things you must go outside yourself to get them. Why? Because you are separate from them. Okay, we can observe that and that is acceptable to us.

Now you must go outside of yourself to get the things you need in order to construct your life. We observe that some of the things you need are attainable and some of the things you need are not readily available to you.
Some of the things you need are hard to acquire because they are separated from you by distance or time or some other construction not within the scope of your talents or abilities at the time that you need them. This is not excluding the idea that you may be able to acquire them at another time or place, but there just seems to be some things that you can't get your hands on when you need them.
'
In other words, you fail to get what you need. Your failure to acquire that which you need is blamed on the idea that you are too far separated from that which you need, either by space, time, circumstance or any other variation of separation.

Well, this is a fine kettle of fish. You need something to build your life, but you can fail to fulfill your need. You don't have that which you need. Is there an insufficient supply of that which you need? It certainly looks that way. Well, let's go ahead and build your life with what you can acquire and maybe there will be a more sufficient supply of what you need later.

So now the structure of your life is incomplete. It requires something that you need but you failed to get because you are separate from the supply, which is insufficient for your needs. You still have a requirement for your need but no way, in the present moment, to fulfill it.

Is that fair? How are you supposed to build the structure of your life if you can't fulfill this requirement that is necessary to make your life complete? Is this God,stressed, who is your architect and from whom you are separate, somehow judging the structure of your life to be unworthy of giving you what you require? What kind of God, what kind of architect, is that?
Can you begin to see how this concept of being separate from God allows to easily fall into the trap of believing we need things in life that are unattainable? This is the natural consequence of believing in the concept that you are separate from God.

Sometimes people get addicted to wounded sadness as a way of avoiding the core sadness

Very often, in my work with my clients, when I ask them what they are feeling they say, "I feel sad." Often,1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots, they do not know why they feel sad.
Sadness comes from two very different sources.
CORE SADNESS
Core sadness is sadness that is in reaction to something that is happening or has happened externally. Many life situations can cause sadness, such as:
* Loss: loss of people (through death or leaving), loss of a job and financial security, loss of a beloved pet, loss of face through another's betrayal, loss of health, and so on.
* Witnessing people's cruelty to people, animals, and the planet. Witnessing the greed with which many people operate, which harms others and the planet.
* Witnessing the pain of others that results from natural disasters, such as fires, earthquakes, floods, and so on. As well as witnessing others' pain as a result of their loss.
* Being with a person with whom you want to connect and the person's heart is closed. They are angry or withdrawn and unavailable to sharing caring.
Core sadness needs to be compassionately embraced. We need to be very gentle with ourselves and others when we,you can take steps to move through it., or others, are experiencing core sadness. Often, people are afraid of this feeling and other core feelings and turn to various addictions to numb out feelings of sadness, grief, heartbreak, heartache, and sorrow. When we don't gently and compassionately embrace these feelings, they get stuck in our bodies and can cause other problems, such as acting out with others, addictive behavior, and illness.
WOUNDED SADNESS
Wounded sadness is sadness that we are causing to ourselves by our own self-abandonment. When we have not learned how to take loving care of ourselves and manage our core painful feelings, then we ignore our feelings, judge ourselves, turn to addictions, or make others responsible for our feelings. All these forms of self-abandonment cause our inner child - which is the feeling part of us - to feel sad and alone inside.
Sometimes people get addicted to wounded sadness as a way of avoiding the core sadness, and avoiding responsibility for managing it. They hope that by feeling sad,one thing that missing number will do, they can get others to take care of them and make them feel better. This is a victim state, and often results in others pulling away, as most people do not want responsibility for another's feelings.
People who suffer from wounded sadness convince themselves that their sadness is being caused by others not caring about them, or by bad luck, or by God abandoning them. They do not want to accept that they are causing their own sadness with their own self-abandonment. Until they decide that they want responsibility for causing their wounded feelings and for managing their core painful feelings, they will continue to see themselves as victims who need someone to rescue them,8. Whether I look for opportunities or obstacles I find what I'm looking for.. They will continue to be addicted to sadness as a way of attempting to manipulate others into taking responsibility for them.
People who tend to be caretakers often get trapped in trying to make a sad victim feel happy, which is exactly what the victim wants. While giving comfort and compassion to someone who is experiencing core sadness due to life situations is very loving and helpful, giving this same comfort and compassion to someone suffering from the wounded sadness that they are causing themselves is like giving an alcoholic a drink - it enables them to continue to abandon themselves.
If you are in a relationship with someone who pulls on you with their wounded sadness to make them happy, it is important for you to compassionately embrace your own core sadness at not being able to connect with them. We cannot connect with someone who is disconnected from themselves, which is always a result of self-abandonment.
Wounded sadness is healed only when a person decides to learn how to develop a loving adult self, capable of taking responsibility for their own feelings. It is the practice of Inner Bonding® that develops the loving adult self.

Thanks to being an Empath, life's rules don't seem to apply to me. There...I finally said it! Where others seem to plod, claw and struggle, doors open easily for me. Now that's not to say that I didn't become lazy, arrogant and apathetic,1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots, because I did, and what appeared to be a blessing soon became a curse and almost led to my demise.
As early as I can remember I knew I was different. It wasn't something you could see on the outside exactly, as I participated in most things that children did, it was something on the inside. I had this knack for people, all types of people. Not just family and friends mind you but strangers as well,Are you learning about the importance of life organizers. I could instantly tap into what they were feeling and create an avenue of deep communication and bonding that most people dream about. This may leave you with the impression that I'm a "people person" but this is far from the truth,in the hallway! In fact do NOT confuse empathy wihth sympathy most of what I feel bleeds through regardless if I give a crap about the person or the situation! It's been no picnic although I will say being an Empath proved quite useful growing up in an inner city environment although challenging at times.
I've talked my way out of more than one bully bashing and have befriended many junkyard dogs in my time. I've had complete strangers tell me the most intimate details about themselves and my friends range from criminal to scholar and everyone in between. I have no enemies and both my ex wives are dear friends to me, in fact I'm currently living with one of them. You'd think this ability would have taken me to the upper echelons of society but it didn't. In fact it brought me loneliness and the depths of addiction, where in which I lost my family, friends and almost my life.
When I was a kid it was cool and flattering to have people seek you out for advice or just be an ear for them but I soon began noticing something. Long after they departed I was left to bear the weight of their crap. Don't misunderstand me, I didn't mind helping people, I really did but the more they'd purge the worse I felt and ultimately it began to eat me up from the inside out as I became some sort of an "emotional dumping ground" for others. This led me to high anxiety and of course with teen years a lot of self medicating.
The journey from friendly, empathetic, sensitive young man to reclusive, drug addicted bum was a sad and short one. It seemed the more I listened, the more I absorbed and the less I was ableto let go of it. The only relief and comfort I found was in booze and drugs. Fortunately, after countless overdoses and a dozen detoxes, I'm coming up on twenty years os sobriety this July.
I wish there were some magic plan for an Empath to follow that would allow them to opt for self preservation over service to others but it doesn't exist. As this is NOT the natural way an Empath operates!
Here's a short list though of what seems to help me:
Try to make a conscious effort to keep yourself first in life.
Don't feed into drama - Their drama becomes your drama!
Beware of "soul suckers". You know the type,or lose-lose situations in the future., dark, dreary and all about them.
Take the time to meditate and let go. Even just a few minutes helps!

Did you watch the film "Kung Fu Panda"? I don't know why I didn't watch it before last night, but I'm really glad I did finally see it. Needless to say, being about kung fu, the central theme of the movie is self-belief. Confidence really is "the secret ingredient" for success in life.
The movie demonstrated this important fact in two main ways. Everyone raved about the noodles with the secret ingredient, even the son, the panda. It was only at the end of the film that he found out that there was no secret ingredient; it was just everyone's belief that there was this secret that made everyone find it so special. Just the thought made people expect that it would be special and so it then tasted special.
This of course perfectly demonstrates the fact that your own self-belief, your own expectations pave the way to your own perception of reality, and therefore create your reality. The belief that there was a special ingredient actually made the noodles TASTE better. Your perceptions are colored by your beliefs in relation to everything in life. Your internal beliefs, your sense of self shapes all of your experiences and so it is vital that one has belief in oneself, confidence in yourself.
The other theme of the movie was finding the dragon warrior, the best kung fu expert, and this warrior would get to see what was on a secret scroll. There was much competition for this valued position, but somehow, accidentally the overweight panda who knew little about kung fu ended up being named as this warrior,You can learn to use hypnosis with the help of hypnosis downloads quickly. As far as this dude (trying to be modern) can ascertain, the "Enterprise" is the most sublime, magnificent, grandiose, famous, and significant starship that mankind has come up with. Naturally, it doesn't really exist, except in the movies, my mind, and my imagination.
Years ago, where my younger self gallivanted to Florida in an old pick-up truck, one of the first beaches I actually enjoyed was on Anna Marie Island on the Gulfif one totaled up all the hours I spent there, it would be well over 150. Listening to and watching the waves of antiquity splash against the shore, and eyeballing the bikinis stroll by (I may be 69, but I am not dead),1873 Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Grey Boots, my highly imaginative imagination ran wild on many subjects.
Closing my eyes, my starship entitled "Imagination" would conjure up a myriad of adventures, all of which were beyond my mental, physical, and emotional capabilities. Naturally, attempting to comprehend anything that appears to be un-accomplishable is actually a good path to wander down, for it adds some mystery to your life, which in turn, forces your mind and imagination to explore all those billions of synaptic connections in your cerebral cortex, just to see what might appear in your mind's eye.
For instance; when zig-zaging, wandering, jaunting, floundering, and otherwise strolling along the beach, I fantasized about having my own personal starship, which I naturally named "Imagination." I would "beam" aboard, fire up the engines to warp 20 (fast isn't she?), and in less than a minute, would be gallivanting through the cosmosjust to see what I could discover.
Have you ever seen a star go nova (explode)? What a stirring site! Ever roam through a nebula? It is akin to being lost in a cloud. And when I really wish to be stunned into a mind numbing experience, I navigate my starship to approximately 100,000 light years above the galactic core of our Milky Way Galaxy, and settle at "station-keeping." From there, I can absorb the beauty of the galaxy rotating (actually, it takes about 250 million of our years for it to make one rotation), My optical orbs (eye balls) can inhale the whirling of a neutron star, the black hole at the center as it gobbles up everything within its "event horizon" (stars that wander too close to its grasp),like becoming debt free, and a star igniting as it is being born.
And that's not all folks! When you consider that there are an estimated 200 to 400 billion stars in our galaxy, and that there are billions of galaxies (some of them with an estimated one trillion stars), you cannot help but try to calculate how many other life forms abide here. It is mankind's arrogance that believes we are the only living creatures in all of this.
And if that doesn't tickle your innards, you may wish to opine over the facts that everyone's time is different,We could continue to dream and say 'If only...', space-time can be bent (there is a theory about ghosts here), and that time itself doesn't really exist.
What we "bags of mostly water" need to understand, is that everyone of us has the capabilities to accomplish almost anything we desireand all you have to do is reach deep within your mind, conjure up your own personal dream, make the decision that nothing and no-one is going to stop you, the determination that you are willing to pay the price, put your personal starship into warp drive, and go for it.
I have heard that space is the final frontierbut I personally truly believe that the human mind, combined with the imagination, is the real final frontier - for when you combine them with knowledge, your opportunities are literally endless. And if you will practice utilizing your mental, physical, and emotional facilities, and allow your imagination to run wild with them, then just fire up your personal starship,whether they had wonderful, and imagine what you can do with you and your life.

You need a fixture that will hold four foot long fluorescent bulbs. Buy the best 'grow' lights. The kind that is best for plants. They are the closest match to the spectrum of sunlight. Do not use standard fluorescent bulbs. They are too green and will actually drain the energy out of you. Research shows the best time to treat winter depression with light therapy is early in the morning. The best time is probably the first task of the day. You could sit quietly near the lights to read uplifting material before you begin your day.
In addition, try to following tips:
Stick to a daily routine.
Go to bed on time so you can do your light therapy first thing in the mornings.
Try to avoid annoying people.
Arrive at work early. Plan your day. Make a list of what you want to accomplish and check things off as you accomplish them.
Save challenging projects for when you are not fighting winter depression.
Decide that the weather not affect your mood. You cannot change the weather.
If the weather is bad, allow a little extra time to get to work. Accept the weather as it is and move on.
Improve your health,anyway.. Eat healthier foods.
Exercise. Walking is one of the best exercises for depression. It is nearly impossible to think bad thoughts while you are walking briskly.
Drink plenty of water.
In conclusion, don't give up on yourself. If you still feel bad after you have done the entire above mentioned, yell for help! If you can't talk to your family or a friend, talk to your personal physician,you converse to yourself regarding the way that you like your life to be. See a nurse in a clinic, or a psychologist. Do not keep your feelings inside. There are all kinds of help for people who suffer from any kind of depression.
